DIY - decorar um quadro de cortiça - cork board decoration

Os quadros de cortiça têm um papel funcional mas isso não quer dizer que nao possam ser agradáveis à vista, que não possam ser decorativos!

Cork boards are functional but i doesn't mean they can't be pleasant to sight!

Material necessário:
 - quadro de cortiça;
 - 2 suportes para quadros;
 - tinta acrílica;
 - esponja;
 - martelo;
 - fio de nylon transparente;
 - molas de madeira pequeninas;
 - fita cola.

What you need:
 - cork board;
 - 2 picture hangers; 
 - acrylic paint;
 - sponge;
 - hammer;
 - a nylon string;
 - tiny clothespins;
 -  adhesive tape.

1 Em primeiro lugar, coloca-se os suportes para quadros e para isso será necessário o uso de um martelo.
    
    First you have to put the picture hangers. You will need the hammer for that.

                  Escolhe o suporte que seja mais conveniente ao tamanho do teu quadro.

                                      Choose the size that is more convenient for your cork board

2 Agora coloca-se a fita cola no caixilho do quadro para não pintar.
  
   Now put tape all around the frame so it won't get painted.

3 A seguir, com a esponja, começa a pintar. A razão pela qual usei a esponja é que ao contrario dos pinceis não deixa marcas de tinta. Irão ser necessárias mais de uma camada de tinta, pois a cortiça é porosa.
Quando terminares de pintar todas as camadas necessárias e quando já estiver seco remove a fita cola.

     Next, start painting with the sponge. The reason why I choose the sponge it's because unlike the brushes it won't make marks on the paint. It will be needed more than one layer of paint, because cork its absorbent. When you've finished painting all of the layers and when its dry remove the tape.

 

4 Agora serão necessárias as molas de madeira e o fio de nylon. Corta um grande comprimento e enfia a primeira mola no fio. O fio deve passar pelo buraquinho da mola da mola (a mola de arame) e a mola deve-se posicionar perto de uma das extremidades do fio. Depois dá dois nós que atem em cima da mola de arame.  A seguir repete o mesmo processo para a seguinte mola e põe quantas molas desejares. Quando estiveres satisfeita com o número de molas, ata as extremidades aos suportes para quadros.

  Now you will need the clothespins and the nylon string. Cut a big  string of nylon and hang the first clothespins in the srting. The nylon string should pass by the clothespin's spring and the first clothespin should be near to the edge of the nylon string. Than make tow knot above the clothespin's spring. Repeat the process until you have as many clothespins as you want.  Than attach the nylon string edges to the picture hangers.

O resultado deverá parcer-se com este.

You should end up with something like this.

5 O quadro está quase pronto, só falta colocares as tuas imagens perferidas, recados, etc. Usa pins de uma cor contrastante com a cor que escolheste para a cortiça!

  

    The cork board is now almost  finished. Put your favorite images, notes, etc, to be completed. Use pins with colors that will contrast with the color you choose for the cork!
